Job Scheduler

The RMTrack application includes a separate service that runs in the background on the web server and executes scheduled jobs.

These jobs include:

Issue Escalation - to perform automatic transitions defined in the workflow - job runs every 5 minutes
Incoming E-Mail - to fetch incoming e-mails from addresses monitored for automatic issue creation - job runs every 10 minutes
Issue Notifications - to periodically send e-mails based on the outgoing e-mail configuration and e-mail notification rules - job runs as scheduled on the outgoing e-mail configuration page.
Database Backup - to perform scheduled database backups - job runs as scheduled on the backup configuration page.

This page provides a way to check on the background service without needing to access the web server itself and allows the option to Restart the service and the Schedule Jobs if they do not seem to be scheduled.

Generally, administrators should not need to use this page. Jobs are scheduled automatically when RMTrack detects that one of the services is required.
