The Public Form Designer operates in the same manner as the normal data form designer. Please read that section if you are not already familiar with designing RMTrack forms.
There are a few differences with the public form designer:
On the regular data entry forms the Project field is always required. With public forms, the Project field is only required if more than one project was selected on the general settings tab.
The public forms designer has a validations button which will the field validations dialog. The validations dialog allows the administrator to select which fields are required fields on the form. Only fields present on the form can be marked as required:
The Add Fields and Add Text buttons have been combined into a “split button”. Clicking on the down arrow portion of the button displays a popup menu that allows the user to choose whether they want to add Fields, Text, or an attachment upload button:
The add upload button inserts a button into the form which allows users to select files to be attached to the new issue.
