The RMTrack application includes a separate service that runs in the background on the web server and executes scheduled jobs. The service is called: RMTrack Job Scheduler
These scheduled jobs include:
Database Backup: Performs scheduled database backups. This job runs based on the schedule set up on the backup configuration page.
Incoming E-Mail: Fetches incoming e-mails from addresses monitored for automatic issue creation. This job runs every 5 minutes.
Issue Escalation: Performs automatic transitions defined in the workflow. This job runs every 5 minutes.
This page provides a way to check on the background service without needing to access the web server itself and allows the option to Restart... the service and to Schedule Required Jobs if they do not seem to be scheduled.
Generally, administrators should not need to use this page. Jobs are scheduled automatically when RMTrack detects that one of the services is required.
