The custom report layout type of Template uses an HTML formatted template - much like the E-Mail Templates use an HTML template to format outgoing e-mails.
NOTE: The report shown on this page called 'Example - Revision History', can be downloaded as part of the Example Reports package.
The template is defined using an HTML editor in the Layout Details section and will be reproduced once for each row of the SQL Query result set. In the above example, each row is one audit history record (IssueHistory) for a single issue.
Data is inserted into the report by enclosing the result set column name in square brackets e.g. [ColumnName]. The layout details for the above Revision History look as follows:
